Has there ever been this many opportunities for Travel Agents to win a spot on a USA famil in the past? The travel industry may have a new record on its hands.

Visit California’s content creation FAM competition to The Golden State is currently running alongside Excite Holidays’ ‘America the Great’ incentive and NOW Brand USA has stepped in with the chance for Agents to win a holiday to the States.

Working with Delta Air Lines and Virgin Australia, the bureau’s largest trade incentive to date will see one consultant fly away with a loved one to any US city on the Delta network – so pretty much anywhere in the USA.

To be in the running, Agents will receive one entry when they register and complete any five badges in the USA Discovery Program, including any of the 16 new specialist badges recently added to the training site.

Any additional badge completed will give consultants a bonus entry in the draw.

So essentially – learn and maybe win.


The incentive runs from 20 February through to 16 April 2017.

In addition to potentially winning a trip to the USA, Agents who complete the specialist badges will also receive the knowledge and skills they need to sell the USA more effectively.

It’s a win-win.

The newly launched 16 badges bring the total badge count up to 32 and cover everything from main cities to family holidays, Cirque du Soleil, winter sports and music, culture and heritage.


Among the newer specialist badges is one specifically for Universal Studios Hollywood, which provides in-depth training on the theme park including popular rides and shows, ticket product, as well as visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter TM and Universal CityWalk.

Tristan Freedman, Universal Studios Hollywood’s Australian representative, said the specialist badge will give Agents “everything they need to know to feel confident to sell” Universal Studios Hollywood to their clients.
