By Nahrain John @karryontravel01 Feb 2018You had your go at guessing and we had our go at guessing, but now we need to guess no longer, because the tour operator has finally revealed where it’s taking UMI winners in 2018. G Adventures confirmed this morning that we all suck at calculating incentive destinations, because we all guessed wrong. Unless, you were among the few who foresaw the adventure brand taking Travel Agents to… The Galapagos! Yes, the hint about ‘islands’ and the image of turtle soft toys shared on the UMI Facebook page were all about the Galapagos. Was it your guess? Twelve Agents will join a Chief Experience Office (CEO) on a week-long exploration of the majestic destination on a G Adventures vessel. Their journey will include giant tortoise spotting… Image: G Adventures Sea lion admiring… Image: G Adventures And island bird watching… Image: G Adventures Positions on the once-in-a-lifetime trip will be allocated to six top sellers as well as six randomly picked Agents who have booked at least one client during the incentive period (ends 31 March). Winners will be announced in April, so make sure you sell, sell, sell G Adventures to be in the running. The tour operator’s Managing Director, Adrian Piotto, said he’s exciting to be giving Agents the opportunity to explore the islands. “G Adventures is one of the largest operators in the region, and we are elated to be giving Agents the chance to explore this once-in-a-lifetime destination.” Adrian Piotto, G Adventures Managing Director “All Agents have to do is confirm one booking and they could be on their way to Ecuador.” Fortnightly winners will be announced through the UMI newsletter and Facebook page. A reminder that Agents must be registered with the operator’s sales platform, Sherpa, to be in the running. Good luck!
