The TIME network is expanding nationally and seeks more mentors in every corner the country. Are you ready to bring your experience to the travel industry's no. 1 career accelerator?

The TIME network is expanding nationally and seeks more mentors in every corner the country. Are you ready to bring your experience to the travel industry’s no. 1 career accelerator?

The Travel Industry Mentor Experience (TIME) was founded in 2009 by admired travel industry figure, Penny Spencer. Since that time, 120 mentors have guided more than 200 ambitious mentors from the travel, tourism, hospitality and aviation industries through the program’s acclaimed mentoring program.

But with the program expanding rapidly, it is looking to add to its stable of mentors right across Australia including regional areas.

“TIME’s influence is felt coast-to-coast, but we’re growing and need more fabulous mentors right across the country, in our capital cities and regional areas,” TIME founder, Penny Spencer.

The program has a particular interest in Adelaide-based mentors as it prepares for the inaugural intake of South Australian mentees in late July 2018, but stresses that this a national call-out.

“At the end of the day, ambition and aspiration aren’t exclusive to Australia’s East Coast capitals.”

“TIME’s ability to match a mentee with the ideal mentor is what makes the program so potent and rewarding. A mentor might be a perfect fit for one mentee, but not others. It’s a bit of a science that works best with diversity and a range of qualities and experience,” she continues.

“No two mentors are the same, and we need more of them all over Australia.”

“Our mentors are a veritable who’s-who of the finest senior executives in the industry. If you’re an accomplished professional with a generosity of spirit and an interest in shaping the future of Australia’s travel industry and its people, TIME would love to hear from you,” adds Program Manager, Marie Allom.

The aim of the program is simple: To support talented future leaders of the travel industry through mentoring to realise their potential and accelerate their careers.

The program operates within a structured mentoring framework to deliver agreed outcomes for each participant, and typically runs for six months.

Aspiring participants are encouraged to visit the mentorship’s website or contact Marie Allom at time@travelindustrymentor.com.au.
