NEW SHOW LEAKED: The REAL travel agents of Sydney

We're probably going to get in trouble for doing this, but KarryOn have gotten their hands on a confidential email from a Seven Network bigwig detailing an exciting new travel agent TV show.

We’re probably going to get in trouble for doing this, but KarryOn have gotten their hands on a confidential email from a Seven Network bigwig detailing an exciting new travel agent TV show.

The 12 episode series entitled The Real Travel Agents of Sydney (RTAS) will air on 7mate and follow the lives of seven Sydney-based travel agents, giving the Australian viewing public a fascinating insight into the competitive, stressful and sometimes dramatic world of the travel industry.

Set to begin filming on December 3, the new show will be loosely based on the popular The Real Housewives of Sydney reality TV show currently airing on Arena.

Each travel agent will be followed by their own video and sound crew throughout their day, from the time they wake up to the time they go to bed.

The crew will also document their behaviour at alcohol-fueled industry events. According to the email, each travel agent has signed a waiver giving the Seven Network full rights to air any and all behaviour during the filming of the show – now this should be interesting!

Each week, the travel agents will also meet up for drinks at a calendar industry event where they’ll get to know each other, in addition to switching stores/offices during the week and competing in a range of challenges.

As with any reality TV show, we can expect sparks to fly and drama to ensue as the producers place the agents in highly stressful situations – all for our viewing pleasure, of course!

The email, which was sent to KarryOn from an anonymous source, fails to mention who exactly will be presenting the show. But according the source, names currently floating around include Catriona Rowntree, Sophie Monk and even Graham “Skroo” Turner.

The final decision is expected to be made early next week, just a few days before a nation-wide promo campaign kicks off across across TV and social media.

As much as we tried digging into the history of the email chain, we weren’t able to find any information on any of the travel agents that will soon become part of Australian television history.

But the cast is likely to be a mix of female and male travel agents with years of experience behind them. However, we cannot be certain, and it’s possible we’ll see an all-female cast and even possibly a couple of newbies thrown in.

It’s also unclear at this stage whether all the agents will hail from a single travel agency or represent a bunch of them – your guess is as good as ours! But whatever you do, stay tuned to KarryOn for more exciting goss as it comes to light…

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a KarryOn Comedy article and is obviously satire. It should in no way be taken seriously, unless you want to that is.
