10 October is Canadian Thanksgiving Day, and it seemed particularly apropos for Canadians to celebrate this year in the fact that the leader of their country is Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, with no chance of it being Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.
Meanwhile, Americans will have to wait a month to eat and vote for their turkey, which will undoubtedly lead to indigestion and electile dysfunction.
In the spirit of Canadian Thanksgiving Day, I think it’s time to say, “Thank You, Travel Agents.”
But, not from the clients and travel suppliers you support every day, and the US$7.6 Trillion you contribute to the global economy, this is from the other people that benefit from you doing your job, and just being awesome.
