The flight was operated by Air Serbia’s Airbus A319 “Novak Đoković” aircraft, named after Serbia’s most famous tennis player and piloted by Air Serbia’s chief operating officer Davor Mišeljić, while the First Officer was Biljana Savić, one of Air Serbia’s three female pilots.

Zagreb is the airline’s fourth destination in Croatia, following established services to Dubrovnik, Split and Pula. It is also an important addition to the regional network, according to chief executive Dane Kondic.

“After 23 years, the air bridge between the two capitals is once again reestablished. We are confident that the flights will enhance travel options and will further contribute to the development of bilateral trade and tourism.”
