Months of pent-up excitement simmers away all because of that miserable airline staff member that clearly didn’t want to be at work that day.

Bad customer service – it’s the worst way to start a vacation, and since air travel is usually the first thing on the itinerary, it’s important to ensure you and your clients are travelling with airlines that offer the friendliest air services.

That’s why Roy Morgan has conducted research to find out which carriers are most satisfied with when it comes to customer service.

Here is the list of top ten international airlines keeping Aussies happy in the sky:

 

10. Hawaiian Airlines

Around 76 percent of Australians surveyed said they were satisfied with the ‘Aloha’ friendliness of Hawaiian Airlines staff.

 

9. British Airways

The airline, which has been flying to Australia for over 80 years, still offers among the best customer service that satisfies around 77 percent of Aussies.

 

8. Qatar Airways

Qatar Airways staff

Not only is Qatar the world’s most dependable airline, it’s also a favourite amongst Australians for its prompt and friendly service, well at least 77 percent of Australians think-so.

 

7. Air New Zealand

Sometimes they dress like Hobbits, other times it’s like Elves, either way Air New Zealand staff are fun and have won over 80 percent of Aussies with their great customer service.

 

6. Thai Airways

Thai Airways takes that famous Thailand hospitality to the skies on every flight. Its crew members are always smiling, polite and willing to help – this has won over 81 percent of Australians.

 

5. Cathay Pacific

The fact that Cathay Pacific has been flying to Australia for over 40 years, proves Australians have a true love affair with the Hong Kong-based carrier.

It was only two months ago that Garuda was recognised by Skytrax as being the one of the world’s best airlines after receiving a ‘5-star rating’ for its onboard services, aircraft and overall business structure.

Now the carrier can add to its list of accomplishments incredible customer service as determined by to 82 percent of Australians.

 

3. Qantas

They’ve got the contemporary outfits, a fun attitude and according to 83 percent of Australia, Qantas air crew have the best customer service in the skies.

 

2. Emirates

Emirates’ crew has not only introduced the world to UAE hospitality and politeness, they’ve also exposed us to high-end customer service and 87 percent of Australians are loving them for it.

 

1. Singapore

Singapore Airlines

Almost everyone that walks off a Singapore Airlines flight comments on the incredible aircraft the airline flies and its all-round amazing staff.

The airline has won the hearts of 97 percent of Australians for great customer service on and off the planes.
