Air New Zealand’s award-winning marketing gander named Dave is sure getting around – maybe even more so than some of us humans in the travel industry.

The white, loud-mouthed and very Aussie fowl voiced by Bryan Brown has stretched out on a Dreamliner, mingled with celebrities in Los Angeles AND now he’s tangoed with a beautifully feathered, rose-bearing Latina goose in South America.

The new one-minute ad spot of Dave the Goose in Argentina was unveiled today, marking the beginning of the next phase of Air New Zealand’s ‘Better Way to Fly’ campaign.

As part of the new clip, the CGI creature showcases activities, entertainment and the culture in Buenos Aires – a city added to the Air New Zealand network in December 2015.

Dave is seen lugging his suitcase through the bustling city, shouting ‘Hola’ from his hotel balcony, mingling with local children and even kicking a few balls in a game of soccer.

The duck then admires the city’s unique artwork and dines at a cafe before meeting his match for a passionate dance-off in the city centre.
