Etihad stays fashionable with Ellery at Sydney Fashion Week

Distinguished Australian designer, Ellery, co-hosted an exclusive event – ELLERY X ETIHAD AIRWAYS – together with the Abu Dhabi-based airline at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia earlier this week.

Distinguished Australian designer, Ellery, co-hosted an exclusive event – ELLERY X ETIHAD AIRWAYS – together with the Abu Dhabi-based airline at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia earlier this week.

The event celebrated ELLERY’s 10th year since showing for the first time at Australian Fashion Week with a retrospective of iconic looks from the ELLERY archive. Etihad Airways celebrated its 10 years of service to Australia and global commitment to fashion with the Australian launch of its Runway To Runway program.

Adding further excitement to the occasion, Etihad Airways also unveiled a new fashion initiative –Model Diaries– an original content series featuring IMG Model Georgia Fowler in the inaugural episode. Produced in partnership with Etihad Airways and IMG, the series will follow notable models from take-off to touchdown as they travel to fashion events around the world. Distinguished guests from across the Australian fashion industry, including Georgia Fowler, Kym Ellery, Elyse Taylor, Carmen Hamilton, Izzi Manfredi, Kris Smith, Eva Galambos, Christine Centenera, Justin O’Shea, Lisa Aiken, Yasmin Sewell, and The Stenmarks were welcomed to the VIP cocktail event by Etihad Airways cabin crew.

Etihad Airways’ ‘Runway to Runway’ initiative is a unique loyalty and rewards program specifically designed to support the fashion industry’s international travel requirements. Runway to Runway members are eligible to receive special airfares, airport lounge access, complimentary upgrades, priority boarding and check-in, additional checked baggage allowances, as well as preferred cargo and group travel rates when travelling for photo shoots, showing collections overseas, or conducting business in overseas markets.
