Garuda Indonesia adds more flights to Bali from Australia

Australians will have a little more choice when it comes to flying to their favouritre international destination as Garuda Indonesia increases frequency between Melbourne and Denpasar.

Commencing 29 December 2017, there’ll be eight flights to Bali from Australia, up from the current seven.

According to the airline’s boss, the additional service is being introduced to meet growing demand for travel between Australia and Indonesia, especially between Melbourne and Denpasar.

“Our hope is that the additional flight frequency will be able to accommodate the increasing number of Australian tourists from Melbourne and Australia.”

“This effort is also part of the support of Garuda Indonesia to fulfil the target of the Ministry of Tourism to bring in 20 million foreign tourists to Indonesia until the year 2019.”

The additional flight Denpasar – Melbourne will be operated every Friday, departing from Denpasar at 9.10am, and arriving in Melbourne at 5:45pm. Then it will depart from Melbourne at 7:15pm, and will arrive in Denpasar at 10:15pm.

That’s awesome news for Aussies looking for flights to Bali from Australia in the new year, meanwhile we’re sitting here patiently waiting for Jetstar to announce to announce those direct flights to Lombok.
