Hong Kong Airlines adds frequency to Australia & New Zealand over Christmas

Hong Kong Airlines is tapping into demand for travel between Oceania and Hong Kong with extra services during the upcoming Christmas and Chinese New Year holidays.

Hong Kong Airlines is tapping into demand for travel between Oceania and Hong Kong with extra services during the upcoming Christmas and Chinese New Year holidays.

Commencing 9 December 2016, the carrier will increase frequency on services to Gold Coast/Cairns from three times to five times weekly. This will extend to daily during the Chinese New Year.

Over the same period, and less than one month after launching to the destination, the airline will fly 10 times weekly to Auckland, an increase from seven.

The carrier said additional services will provide passengers with more flexibility over the festive seasons.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong Airlines has also announced a brand new daily services between Hong Kong and Incheon International Airport in Seoul, Korea.

The carrier’s A330 aircraft will operate on the route, giving travellers access to both Economy and Business Class seats.

Mr. Li Dianchun, Chief Commercial Officer of Hong Kong Airlines said, as the “capital of culture, fashion and entertainment” Korea has been and will continue to be a favourite among Hong Kong travellers.

“Hong Kong Airlines will continue to grow our route network in Asia, and strengthen Hong Kong’s position as one of the world’s major aviation hubs.”

As a full-service airline, Hong Kong Airlines offers passengers the convenience of travelling with up to 20kg checked baggage allowance and free inflight meal.
