How booking a cab can get you free Qantas flights

Qantas Frequent Flyer members can now earn points when booking and catching a cab through taxi booking app, goCatch.

Qantas Frequent Flyer members can now earn points when booking and catching a cab through taxi booking app, goCatch.

Members earn one Qantas Point for every dollar spent on taxi fares over $10.

goCatch customers can also go in the running to win a share of 500k Qantas Points, simply by adding their membership details to their goCatch account. They also need to book and pay for taxi travel over $10 between 9 October and 9 November 2015.

One tenth of that passive pool combined with existing points will move members closer to free flights whether it be return domestic trips or one-way international.

Qantas Loyalty Chief Executive Officer, Lesley Grant, said members could even double-dip on points by using goCatch to book a taxi fare over $10 and pay for it using a Qantas Points-earning credit card.

Qantas Loyalty Chief Executive Officer Lesley Grant said Frequent Flyer rewards are well within reach for those who maximise their points earn across their everyday spend.

goCatch CEO Ned Moorfield said the partnership with Qantas signalled a significant corporate milestone for goCatch.
