Etihad Airways is the official airline of Milan Fashion Week and is also supporting the fashion community at events in Berlin, London, Milan, Mumbai, New York and Sydney.

Etihad Airways is the official airline of Milan Fashion Week and is also supporting the fashion community at events in Berlin, London, Milan, Mumbai, New York and Sydney.

Earlier this year, Etihad Airways became a long-term partner of the fashion industry by announcing a global agreement with WME | IMG and yesterday the fashionable airline together with Alitalia welcomed guests at an exclusive event held in Piazza Gae Aulenti, at the Milan Fashion Week.

The newly formed partnership with WME | IMG has enabled the airline to develop travel-oriented relationships with designers, models, stylists, journalists, photographers, suppliers and sponsors connecting the insiders with fashion capitals across the world including; Berlin, London, Milan, Mumbai, New York and Sydney.

To make guests feel welcome and add an extra touch to the event, well-known fashion illustrator Megan Hess brought her creativity to the occasion, drawing portraits of the guests.

To further demonstrate that the airline’s addition to clothing, Etihad Airways has also launched new luxury First Class amenity kits by teaming up with the leading fashion and skincare brands Christian Lacroix and Omorovicza. 

The stylish and luxurious new amenity kits will be offered on the airline’s flagship A380 flights between Abu Dhabi and Sydney, Melbourne London, New York and Mumbai and fleet-wide in early 2017.

The new kits are available in two styles – a grey wash bag and convertible flat case for males, and plum coloured fold-over bags for females.

The female version is designed for use as a chic clutch, whilst the male bag can be used buttoned down as a wash bag or as storage for tablet devices such as iPads when opened flat.
