Are you one of these annoying flyers?

We've all sat next to them and unfortunately sometimes we are them. They're the annoying flyers, with bad habits that take the peace out of your peaceful flight.

We’ve all sat next to them and unfortunately sometimes we are them. They’re the annoying flyers, with bad habits that take the peace out of your peaceful flight.

And no matter how many dirty looks you throw in their direction, they just don’t seem to get the hint that they are being incredibly annoying!

American late-night comedian, Jimmy Kimmel teamed up with celebrated actor Sir Patrick Stewart [Professor X himself – oh you’re not an Xmen fan, sorry how about Star Trek’s Captain Picard?] to highlight the behaviours of ‘The Most Annoying People on the Plane’ [see video below].

First, there’s the ‘Chatty Charlie’. Yeah, the one that won’t stop talking.

Now, I’m not saying don’t converse with the person next to you, but when their headphones start going in and you’re still chattering away then dude get the hint – they don’t want to talk to you!

Then there’s ‘The Stinky Snacker’ or in Stewart’s case the guy that brings on a day-old tuna sandwich.

This guys gets twenty points on the irritation board – 10 for stinking up the plane and ten for chewing loudly.

If you catch public transport to work everyday then you’re probably way too familiar with this guy – ‘The Seat Climber’.

Yes, the one that decided its easier to climb over you then to wait for you to move.

Easier for who?

They didn’t get out of the aisle any faster and nobody wants someone else’s tuccas in their face.

Chatterbox

This flyer is probably number one of the annoying list – ‘The Seat Kicker’.

I mean this is just disrespectful and should only be used on people you really hate because there is nothing more irritating than a person constantly pushing you forward with little kicks to the back of your seat.

It’s this person that I believe are the cause of inflight disputes.

Then there’s the ‘Land Clapper’. We’re not sure if they’re congratulating the pilot on a great landing – he can’t actually hear them – or maybe they’re just happy to be on ground.

Either way people find them irritating.

But we shouldn’t be too hard on them because sometimes people just like to clap. Okay, I admit it I’m a ‘Hand Clapper’. It’s my way of saying thank you for getting me home safely! I bet staff love the ‘Hand Clapper’.

What type of flyers irritate you in the skies? Better yet, what type of annoying flyer are you?
