If you also have a crush on this jewel of Aegean Sea you will be quite chuffed to learn that Qatar Airways is launching a direct seasonal, service there from May 30 this year. This will come hot on the heels of the airlines launch of direct service to Thessaloniki in March. Four weekly seasonal flights from Qatar Airline’s hub in Doha to Mykonos Island National Airport. They till run between May 30 and July 22 and September 05 until September 30 on board an Airbus A320 with 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy Class. Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker said Mykonos has long been one of the most sought-after European destinations. “We are very proud to be the first Gulf carrier to serve Mykonos directly. The island’s central location among the Cyclades makes it an extremely attractive holiday destination. We look forward to offering holidaymakers the convenience of direct service to this enchanting island this summer.” Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker. The four-times weekly new service between Doha and will also be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft with the same layout. Qatar Airways also offers three daily flights to Athens. Mykonos is just one of many new routes planned by Qatar Airways for 2018. In case you missed it, the airline just started its flights from Doha to Canberra yesterday.
