Is it possible for Etihad's 'Residence' to be more amazing?

Apparently so.

Apparently so.

The airline has teamed up with concierge service provider, Ten Group, to offer its Residence guest more than just a high-standard of service in the sky.

For those who haven’t yet heard about The Residence – it’s a three-room private suite onboard Etihad’s Airbus A380s. It sells for around $27,000 per flight and includes a living room, a bedroom, a private butler and more.

Adding to that royalty-like style of service, Etihad’s new partnership with Ten Group will see the service provider work with the airline’s London Savoy-trained Butlers to offer guests an extended range of services while flying.

The new services include making last minute on-land dining reservations, entertainment bookings, special events, destination information and lifestyle services.

For example, if a $27,000 Residence flyer remembers at 35,000 feet that they want to see Les Miserables while in Sydney, they can ask their Etihad staff member to arrange those tickets – while they’re still in the air.

Etihad describes it as introducing ‘highly personalised and discreet’ services.

Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer commented, saying the collaboration helps meet demand and expectations of the airline’s ‘most discerning guests’.

“Our fully connected fleet will enable us to assist guests in The Residence with their requirements immediately, 24 hours a day, at 35,000 feet, and with the most professional levels of service.”
