Qantas Frequent Flyers can now earn points with Luxury Escapes

The Flying Kangaroo's loyalty members can now earn thousands of points by opening their web browser and booking a holiday through an online booking site.

The Flying Kangaroo’s loyalty members can now earn thousands of points by opening their web browser and booking a holiday through an online booking site.

Qantas today announced a new arrangement with Luxury Escapes that’ll see Frequent Flyer members earn one point for every dollar spent on the website.

With an average booking through Luxury Escapes costing around $2,000, members have the chance to earn a clear 2,000 points in one booking.

That’s in addition to the point they’ll earn on other travel expenses such as airline flights, using Qantas Cash, car hire and more.

Vice versa, travellers will be able to use their Frequent Flyer points towards the cost of their Luxury Escapes holiday AND earn Qantas Points on the total value of the booking at the same time.

Luxury Escapes General Manager Blake Hutchison said the partnership will make booking through the website even more rewarding for travellers.

Qantas Loyalty Executive Manager Commercial David Young concurred, saying they’re giving Frequent Flyers a new option to earn and use points.

“It’s a great way for our members to build up their points balance to use towards their next holiday before they’ve even set off and earn points on the bulk of their holiday expenses.”
