Aussie are spoilt when it comes to flying because not only does ‘The World’s Best Airline‘ and ‘The World’s Best Cabin Crew‘ fly to and from Australia, but so too does ‘The World’s Best First Class’.
Etihad Airways, which operates from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, was praised overnight for having ‘The World’s Best First Class’, according to this year’s SKYTRAX 2017 World Airline Awards.
So while Qatar Airways was able to beat its Middle Eastern rivals in ‘The World’s Best Airline’ category, it couldn’t quite top the Abu Dhabi-based airline’s private inflight apartments.
Flying in Etihad’s First Class comes with generous space, a chauffeur service, a glass of wine upon take off, private dining, elegant fine-bone china, a socialising area and turn down service with all-natural mattress and bedding.
Etihad also has those luxurious bathrooms and showers that Jennifer Aniston loves so much, as well as personal vanity units for each First Class guest.
Etihad’s First Apartment topped Emirates’ First Class product, which was named ‘World’s 2nd Best First Class’ followed by Lufthansa, Air France and Singapore Airlines.
