Travelling through the airport may seem like a tired necessity, but if 2017 has taught us one thing, it’s that gateways are full of surprises thanks to on-the-ground staff.
Earlier this year, we saw an airport employee entertain flyers with epic dance moves on the tarmac, we laughed as two Southwest Airlines employees transformed the gate into a karaoke session and we curled over in stitches at the guy who randomly broke out in K-Pop around JFK.
Now, we’re left in complete awe over a Virgin Australia staff member who stunned travellers at Melbourne Airport this week with a gorgeous rendition of ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’.
The employee approached the counter and wished everyone a “safe and Merry Christmas” before wow-ing those waiting at the gateway with her beautiful voice.
Although we weren’t there, we can imagine everyone at the airport was as amazed as everyone watching it via social since the short clip went viral.
The only non-Virgin employee in the video is literally everyone while watching the video…
