What do people ACTUALLY like about flying? A whole lot, apparently

It's the journey we have to take in order to get to the journey we actually want to take. It can be painful, long, exhausting and hair flattening, but it's not all bad.

Around seven percent of the 2,005 people surveyed said they love being able to disconnect from the world during a flight (eek they’re going to hate it when Qantas and Virgin Australia’s fleets are fully equipped with wifi).

Then there was some 11 percent of Aussies who said they love flying because they get to watch movies and TV for hours, while five percent love the free alcohol.

Others said they enjoyed earning frequent flyer points (oh, that, yes!), trying out business lounges (mhm, not there yet) and eating plane food (emmm, who are you people?).

Of course, not everyone’s a fan of travelling at 32,000-feet, with 36 percent saying they endure it because they have to and nine percent hating every aspect of it.
