Buffalo Tours has expanded its business with a fifth destination this year, by unveiling its first ever tours in Indonesia.

Now with Indonesia added to the business, the company offers travellers tour options across most of Asia, with tours already operating in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar.

According to the company, the newest addition is part of its plans to increase to 11 destinations by the middle of 2015.

With the increasing trend towards travellers wanting to “live like a local”, the tour operator says its new Indonesian itineraries are devoted to offering various unique and innovative travel styles, such as classic highlights, adventures and off the beaten track, cruises, family tours and honeymoon and luxury holidays.

There’ll also be new in-country offices with destination experts that will focus on delivering authentic and unique customer experiences that reflect the diverse local cultures.

Buffalo Tours Indonesia GM, Katherine Lord, said agents will be surprised by what the company has to offer in Indonesia for their clients.

“We have been very successful in designing and operating a range of Buffalo Tours programmes throughout Indochina, and the launch of these new destinations will allow us to provide our partners and customers in Australia with an increased offering of authentic experiences that will put travellers in touch with the local cultures.”
