European treats up for grabs from Rail Plus

Picture yourself dressed to the nines and sipping a glass of champagne in your own limousine. Now picture that limousine pulling up to a luxurious English high tea.

Rail Plus is giving Travel Agents the chance to bring that image to life during its second annual Rail Plus Eurostar Ambassador Program.

To be in the running, Agents have until midnight on 14 November to visit the Rail Plus website and complete a training module. They then have to take a quiz on Eurostar’s celebrated product.

This year, there are 30 questions for consultants to answer, which will be selected randomly from a pool of 50 brain teasers. Subjects will range from Eurostar’s network and cabin classes to ticketing and travel times.

Those who score a pass rate of 60 percent or higher will receive a Rail Plus Eurostar Ambassador certificate and the top consultant will win a limousine ride to a luxurious English high tea in their home city with five of their friends.

PLUS, the second prize this year is six bottles of fine French champagne (valued at $650) and the third-placed consultants will take home a Belgium-themed goodie bag featuring a waffle maker, beer and some delicious chocolates ($350).

Before you hop on Rail Plus’ website to complete the training module and take the quiz, Agents should keep in mind that they only have one attempt at the questions (with each person’s score revealed upon completion).

Rail Plus Commercial Director Ingrid Kocijan said in addition to refreshing their Eurostar knowledge, Agents completing the training module will learn about some important changes to Eurostar’s product over the last year.

“Eurostar is continually enhancing it customer experience, most recently through the introduction of its state-of-the-art e320 trains, which are setting new standards for on-board comfort, digital connectivity and entertainment.”

“Given Eurostar is Australian travellers’ most popular train journey, it is vital agents continually stay abreast of these changes. The Rail Plus Eurostar Ambassador programme offers a fun and informative way to do just that.”
