TravelManagers head to the City of Churches

An Aussie race car legend, cooking classes, awards and new tech – they’re just some of the things TravelManagers will enjoy at this weekend’s TravelManagers Conference.

Around 175 of the group’s home-based consultants have stepped out of their home offices and headed to Adelaide today to kick start the annual event, which officially starts at 2.00pm.

In addition to hearing from a lineup of industry leaders and keynote speakers such as Australian Olympic gold medalist, Alisa Camplin-Warner, agents will be updated on the group’s position and even introduced to new company advancements.

Among the advancements is the launch of TravelManagers’ new client App.

The app provides Personal Travel Managers’ (PTMs) client details of their full travel itinerary and more at the tap of a finer.

Officially launching at the Conference, it will be available for agents to download and trial on the Androids of Smartphones.

Also new to the event this year is the major Saturday night dinner to be held at the Adelaide Oval.

The evening will be themed ‘Sporting Heroes and Legend’ and will see Adelaide-born racing car driver , Nick Percat, join consultants for a bite to eat.

In line with the sporting-theme, agents have been asked to come dressed in their favourite team colours/jersey or as their favourite sporting hero – this should be interesting.

Other highlights of the three-day conference include PTMs’ annual Community charity event and the awards night recognising exceptional achievements over the last year.

KarryOn will be reporting live from the conference. Be sure to check back on KarryOn over the weekend for more information.
