“It has been an incredible journey to see the ship come to life,” said Seabourn’s President earlier this week when he came face-to-face with the line’s newest ultra-luxury vessel.
Richard Meadows was in awe of the brand’s fifth ship, Seabourn Ovation, even describing her as a “stunning creation”.
While we haven’t seen her in person, there’s no denying that newest Seabourn is a beauty, having been designed by the man behind the tasteful One & Only Cape Town resort in South Africa, Adam Tihany.
All 300 oceanfront suites are designed to give guests the feeling of being in a ‘home away from home’ through a private veranda, space for private al-fresco dining, a vast range of amenities, a walk-in closet, sofa seating and comfortable bedding.
Each in-suite marble bathroom is made up of a separate bath and shower and comes with luxury bath products, while the personal bar and refrigerator are stocked according to guest preferences.
Other highlights of Seabourn Ovation include the Spa and Wellness Centre featuring holistic experiences mixed with opportunities to develop physically and spiritually; the classic American restaurant called The Grill by Thomas Keller; and more.
Seabourn’s newest ship will officially launch on 5 May 2018 when she sets off on her maiden 11-day voyage from Venice to Barcelona. This will be followed by her christening on 11 May in Valletta, Malta.
As part of her debut season, the vessel will mainly cruise in Northern Europe on seven-day Baltic and Scandinavian cruises.
