The ever-growing worldwide fleet of passenger cruise ships has received its newest entry, which promises to “bring guests’ dreams to life” through “transformational” voyages.

Dream Cruises’ second cruise ship, World Dream, set off this week with the aim of re-shaping cruising into an “inspirational” and dream-like experience.

According to the cruise line, this out of body experience will be achieved through a variety of onboard offerings along with authentic destination experiences.

For example, seven out of 10 guests will have unobstructed views of the ocean thanks to their private balconies, while the ‘ship within a ship’ product called ‘Dream Palace’ will have more suites and all-inclusive options and privileges compared to its sister-ship Genting Dream. The exclusive area also features its own private pool, restaurant bar and 24 hr European Butler service.

Crystal Life Spa brand will operate both the Western Spa and Asian Spa on World Dream (who could decide between the two?!), while guests will also have more dining choice through the new Vintage Room chef table in partnership with Penfolds Wine, and two new seafood and steakhouse restaurants, which will be among the 35 restaurants and bar concepts.

Entertainment-wise, cruisers will have access to the largest virtual reality game zone at sea including state-of-the art Vesaro car racing simulators, new signature shows including “Sogno” and “Some Like It Hot” crossover classic and Latin ballroom show, Laser shows and ongoing fireworks displays, and new programs for families, children and teenagers. Not to mention the wrap-around promenade deck which makes way for wonderful seamless indoor/outdoor dining for guests to connect with the ocean.

The retail section of the ship has also been expanded with new shops and brand partners, such as Tiffany & Co plus a beauty bar with personal beauty consultants, interactive product wall, and new marketplace and bazaars.

On land, World Dream will offer diverse itineraries featuring new, authentic destination experiences such as Manila and Boracay; Ho Chi Minh and Nha Trang; and more.

As well, World Dream will be offering Warm Weekend Vacations from Hong Kong for the ultimate stay-cation where passengers can bask outside in the temperate climate of the South China Sea and surround themselves with the warmth and service of the attentive staff inside.
