Bosses of the world’s first millennial-dedicated cruise line have looked into the crystal ball and determined that the future of youth cruising is in Europe AND Asia.
In case you’ve spent the last few months on a deserted island with little-to-no Internet connection, Uniworld successfully made river cruising cool enough for the younger generation of travellers by renovating two of its ships, redesigning the on board and experience and adjusting the on land product
This revolutionary product falls under the brand name U by Uniworld, which officially set sail less than a week ago with the launch of its first ship, The B.
KarryOn was lucky enough to be on board the inaugural sailing and since you’ve been hiding on island paradise for so long, click here to check out our review of the youthful experience.
Despite its fresh launch (and still being a year away from receiving its second ship, The A) U by Uniworld’s bosses say the product has received such positive feedback from the millennial market that they’re keen to expand their offerings.
ASEAN Cruise News reported Uniworld’s President & Chief Executive, Ellen Bettridge, as saying that the U by Uniworld fleet will double in the next few years with two additional ships, including one which will be dedicated to Southeast Asia.
KarryOn has contacted Uniworld for further details.
