New food, new adventure, new shopping and new rooms – Allure of the Seas is practically a whole new ship after completing an 18-day drydock revitalisation.

Emerging from the shipyard this week,the ship now featured 18 restaurants covering a range of culinary experiences such as Royal Caribbean’s popular Japanese restaurant Izumi; there’s Mexican dishes in Sabor Taqueria & Tequila Bar; plus Mediterranean influences in the Coastal Kitchen.

There are 10 new suites onboard including two Royal Suites, six Grand Suites and two Royal Family Suites. Each offers views of the ocean or the ship’s signature AquaTheater and Boardwalk neighbourhood.

A new social space, the Suite Lounge, is an exclusive lounge area for guests to relax and enjoy the views, and a new sun deck area has been added to offer a place to soak-up the Caribbean sun.

Guests will be tempted to spend a lot while onboard, with the addition of Kate Spade New York and Michael Kors retail stores as well as Coach and Regalia in the Park.

Through October 2015, Allure of the Seas will be homeported at Barcelona, Spain, for the first full Oasis-class Europe season.

In November 2015, Allure of the Seas will return to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, alternating seven-night Western and Eastern Caribbean itineraries every Sunday, visiting exciting warm-weather getaways in the Caribbean.
