1. Rocky Mountaineer early booking offer extended

Rocky Mountaineer has not only extended, but enhanced its earlybird offer on new bookings for travel in April and May 2015.

2. Special industry rates in Hong Kong

Harbour Grand

Hong Kong’s five star Harbour Grand Kowloon is offering up to 40 percent discounts on room rates for Australian travel industry staff from now until 31 March 2015.

The deal is available for employees of airlines, travel industry, hotel and media staff.

The offer is limited to five night bookings, but may be extended under special conditions with general manager approval.

Room rates start at $162 per room per night, plus the usual service charges and taxes, with full buffet breakfast costing about A$25.

3. 50% percent off a second cruiser with Royal Caribbean

Voyager of the Seas

As part of Royal Caribbean’s biggest sale ever, the line is offering guests who book any local sailing of five nights or longer departing between 1 January 2015 and 28 April 2016 up to 50 percent off their cruising companion’s fare; up to US$400 onboard credit per stateroom; and half price deposits.

This offer is valid on new bookings made until 31 January on all Royal Caribbean Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific, Trans-Pacific and Asia reposition voyages.

5. Save on WW1 commemorative cruises

Travellers can commemorate the centenary of the start of World War 1 with A&K’s specially designed cruises focusing on destinations that were the centre of battles during the war.

6. Fly to India from $694

Cathay Pacific is having an earlybird special on new bookings to South Africa, the Maldives and the Indian subcontinent until 19 December.

The offer is valid on flights departing from 18 January to 15 February 2015.

One-way fares from Sydney to India start from $694* per person, including tax and surcharges.

Flights from Adelaide to Mumbai begin at $667* per person for a one-way economy class ticket.

Melbournites can fly to the luxurious Maldives from $664* per person for an one-way economy class flight and travellers from Perth can head to South Africa in economy from $1,457* return.

7. China Southern Airlines first-class sale

China Southern Airlines has announced a sale on a range of fares from Australian ports to China for travel in First Class, with return flights now available from $5279*.

The sale fares offer flights with China Southern to Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai along the airline’s Canton Route. Travel is available in state-of-the-art First Class Cabins from Sydney on the airline’s flagship A380 or from Brisbane and Perth on modern A330-200 aircraft.

But be quick because the offer applies from now until December 12, 2014 for travel until February 28, 2015 and with the exclusive luxury of just four seats in First Class, bookings are expected to run hot.
