Tahiti Travel Connection (TTC) have certainly seen their fair share of luxury resorts, so when they recently returned from previewing the soon to open ‘Conrad Bora Bora Nui’ absolutely raving about it – we believed them.

The Tahiti Travel Connection team were the very first agents to exclusively experience the new resort before its Grand Opening on 1 April 2017.

From the ridiculously beautiful overwater bungalows to gourmet delights, here’s three key highlights to get you as excited about journeying soon to pure paradise as we now are.

1. YOU’LL CHECK IN ON A BOAT

The transfer over is just the beginning…

When was the last time you checked into a hotel on a private boat, cruising across gorgeous coral blue water without a care in the world?

The team at Conrad are well aware that travelling can be tiresome, so to make your arrival as smooth and relaxing as possible, they’ll check you in on your transfer on the hotel’s private boat. What’s more, when you arrive you’ll be handed a refreshing cool towel and juice before being whisked away to your private hideaway.

Hello paradise.

2. THE OVERWATER BUNGALOWS ARE MIND BLOWING

The Overwater Pool Villas

The two floor Presidential Suite is like nothing we’ve ever seen

All of the absolutely stunning 114 exclusive villas and suites have views of the lagoon and horizon with six categories to choose from including Lagoon View Suites (101m²), right up to the island’s epic first ever (two floor) Presidential Overwater Villas (300m²).

The size, high-tech design and quality of our overwater pool villa and the attention to detail was one of the best they’ve ever experienced in a luxury resort.

Relax in paradise

The overwater villas feature huge master bedrooms with king size beds and panoramic views of the lagoon; a massive bathroom with a gorgeous freestanding bath tub, his and her sinks on either side of the bathroom, a separate rain shower, separate toilet; and a walk-in wardrobe.

A plate of French macaroons was waiting on the side for arrival, along with a brand-new Nespresso coffee machine and tea selection.

The best bit about their villa’s were the ultra-chic outdoor areas with spacious infinity plunge pools, catamaran nets (perfect for star gazing) and direct access to the lagoon. Oh yes!

3. IT’S FOODIE HEAVEN

Feeling hungry from all that relaxing? You’ll be spoilt for choice of cuisine at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui, which can be savoured in a variety of uber cool settings.

The enchanting Upa Upa Lounge Bar opens mid-afternoon with a selection of tea and French pastries followed by tapas, finger food and cocktails prepared at your table by a professional mixologist. The Pool Bar also serves a great selection of signature modern cocktails.

The TTC team loved the relaxed dining ambience at the sandy-bottom Tamure Grill Restaurant. The food, service and setting were nothing short of heavenly.

The TTC team have sampled many a breakfast buffet in their well travelled time, but nothing could have prepared them for the magnitude of Conrad Bora Bora’s offering. From simple continental classics presented immaculately to light and fluffy pastries, juices and  the spread caters to every breakfast preference around the world.
