Chinese mall installs 'husband pods' for bored spouses

Ladies, no longer do you need to do as Destiny's Child suggests and 'leave your man at home', nor do you need to deal with his incessant whining and half-arsed compliments while you search for a new outfit.

In July this year, a Chinese shopping centre, Global Harbour Mall, has found a way to keep all its visitors happy (regardless of how much they may loathe shopping) and it comes in the form of a husband pod.

Located within the multi-story complex are four glass pods where bored shoppers can go to relax on leather seats and play throwback 90s games, Telegraph.co.uk reported.

In addition to comfy seats, each pod features a monitor, computer and game pad.
Currently the system is still in test phase and is free to use. However, this is likely to change should they remain a permanent feature of the shopping centre.

Early users said they enjoyed their time in the pod, however, wished there was more air conditioning.
