Kicking off today, product managers, wholesalers and media departed Australia in the early hours of the morning for their pre-famil of the destination.
The first famil takes attendees to the North of Noumea where they will experience its French qualities and island appeal first-hand.
The familiarisation will run for three days before the Workshop’s ‘Welcome Dinner’ on 28 May.

Official representatives will welcome attendees to the inaugural event, which will be held at Tjibaou Cultural Centre.
According to New Caledonia Tourism’s local representatives, the objection of the workshop is to increase product awareness of the destination and raise its profile amongst industry partners.
“[Also] to grow business opportunities for New Caledonia suppliers with key trade partners.”

Following the workshop, attendees will have the option of taking part in a post-famil, which will explore the South of Noumea.
The island escape will come to an end on 2 June when everyone will fly back home.
