The fictitious movie trailers that teased viewers into thinking Aussie classic, Crocodile Dundee would be getting a sequel this year, truly messed with people’s emotions.

So much so there is now a petition to #bringbackdundee.

An extended version of the fake movie trailer for Crocodile Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home which featured Chris Hemsworth, Danny McBride and a cameo by the original Dundee himself, went on to be screened to 110 million people watching the Super Bowl this week.

America went crazy for it and Chris Hemsworth has even come out publicly to say he wouldn’t be against starring in the movie if it were to eventuate

The Dundee ad is a trending topic on Twitter with Donald Trump Jr even petitioning for the film to be made

“Not gonna lie, Kenny Powers as Crocodile Dundee would be the best thing to come out of Hollywood in decades”

New tweets are coming in every second about the ad, with people amazed at just how well Australia trolled them.
