Is this the oddest yet most accurate description of the Hilton Sydney?

Some say it's beautiful, others appreciate its cleanliness. Some love how fancy and spacious it is and then there are those that say it's friendly, conveniently located and hospitable.

All three conference levels were booked out for the evening and perfectly set up to showcase the hotel’s ability to host events of all sizes, its generous and delicious dining options as well as its access to top entertainers from Opera Australia.

Needless to say, attendees were impressed.

But it was during dinner, after the amuse bouche and just before the delicious smoked beef brisket croquette was served, that Chef Kruno Velican took to the stage and explained that a look behind the scenes at The Hilton Sydney is like seeing a “general assembly of the United Nations”.

He said the property’s staff come from all areas of the world and it’s that diversity that makes the hotel a favourite among guests.

“They [staff] come from many different countries. And it’s through that diversity that we have here, through exchange of information and culture that we’ve gained new learnings and implemented them into the foundation of the hotel.”

So next time you’re at an event at The Hilton Sydney, spending a night at the property or catching up with friends at Zeta Bar try a unique cocktail featuring lychees – a fruit native to China; or test-taste that Tahitian vanilla accompanying that dark chocolate mousse or even chat to Chef Velican who hails from Croatia.
