Introducing the Hotel Iron Man - an Instagram page dedicated to reviewing hotel irons, seriously

He’s on Instagram and he calls himself the Hotel Iron Man.

Not because he flies around in a technologically-advanced red war machine like the Marvel hero.

Nor because he works in the tech industry.

Not even because he slightly resembles Robert Downey Jr. (we assume – haven’t actually seen him).

No, it’s because he uses his bravery, strength and overwhelming desire to do good by travelling from hotel to hotel and ensuring the in-room irons are able to get the wrinkles out of any garment (minus those that scorch under heat).

Yes, actual irons.

In the 12 months since putting his skills to work and launching the Instagram page, the Hotel Iron Man has reviewed 22 of these often unappreciated hotel amenities.

He tests all brands from Kambrook to Sunbeam and offers readers detailed descriptions on each equipment’s plate, cord length, the steam and even the ironing board.

So while he may not be a physical life-saving hero, his work does have the potential to save holidaymakers and business travellers from any last minute kinks.
