If you’re desperately in need of a luxury break and aren’t keen to spend too long in the air, you’ll be pleased to hear the much-hyped Six Senses Fiji is now taking reservations.

The first South Pacific property for the upscale brand, located on Malolo Island, will take reservations from its opening date of April 14.

The island possesses enough drawcards of its own, with pristine white sand beaches, turquoise lagoons and verdant rainforest.

But the resort will up the ante with a 650m private stretch of sand, excellent environmental credentials with 100% solar power and a “Wellness Village”.

Among the accommodation options are 24 spacious pool villas all with private plunge pools and ranging from 110 to 150 square meters in size. There are also 60 luxury residences with three, four or five bedrooms making it a great option for families. A kids club is also available to enhance the resort’s family appeal.

It’s the newest addition to the brand’s expanding portfolio which recently welcomed new resorts in Ibiza and Bhutan. It currently operates 11 resorts and 28 spas in 20 countries under the brand names Six Senses, Evason and Six Senses Spas.

“Aggressive development plans will triple the portfolio over the next five years with resort, hotel and spa openings underway in Austria, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Egypt, Fiji, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Nicaragua, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia and United States,” a statement said.

To celebrate the opening, Six Senses Fiji is offering the fifth night free for guests who stay at the resort between April 14 and May 31, 2018.
