The Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards are back for a second year with more than double the awards on offer.

The Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards are back for a second year with more than double the awards on offer.

In response to feedback from last year’s event, the awards have increased to 19 categories, and will be presented at a gala dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney on April 12.

New categories for this year include Best User Experience, Best Use of Face-to-Face/Experiential Marketing, Best Use of Data, Award for Innovation, Award For Bravery, Disruptor of the Year, Breakthrough Destination of the Year, PR Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Year and Advertising Agency of the Year.

Last year’s event attracted 20 senior industry experts serving as judges. The additional categories this year means the judging panel has expanded to over 40, with more sectors of the travel industry represented.

Winners from last year included Air New Zealand, Frank PR, Medium Rare Content Agency and Tourism Australia.

The awards are specifically designed to be simple to enter. Submissions are word limited and judges are instructed to judge entries based on their stats, facts and supporting material rather than fancy entry designs and aesthetics.

The final entry deadline is this Friday February and you can enter through the portal via https://mumbrella.com.au/travelawards.
