Oman wins Best Exhibitor award at Bucket List Expo and is recognised on multiple hot lists for 2015 putting the destination at the very top of Australian travellers’ bucket lists.
The Sultanate of Oman Tourism (Australia & New Zealand) exhibited at the first-ever Bucket List Expo held at the Brisbane Convention Centre over the weekend 21-22 February 2015 and, evident by the level of interest from the public attending, the destination sits firmly at the very top of Australian travellers’ bucket lists.
From a striking exhibition stand and Bedouin-style tent, the Oman Tourism team of Mona Tannous, Margaret Spiro and Ben Alcock took visitors on a virtual journey around Oman – the best kept secret of Arabia, but perhaps not for long as its profile continues to bloom.
Mona Tannous, Country Manager Australia/NZ said, “We are delighted to have participated in Australia’s first Bucket List Expo. The level of interest from visitors was overwhelming. If Oman wasn’t already in their bucket lists before they walked into the expo, it certainly was by the time they headed home.”
Sultanate of Oman Tourism was awarded Best Exhibitor – Large Stand at the event.
But the flurry of recently released 2015 ‘hot’ lists suggests that Oman is on more than just bucket lists. If there was a list for destinations most often featured on ‘hot’ lists, Oman would sit right at the very top.
