When you bring hundreds of travel agents together you’re bound to get a number of incredibly hilarious moments. Introduce a bit of alcohol and laughter reaches all new levels.
This year’s TravelManagers Conference in Adelaide was no exception with agents, suppliers and management bringing their silly caps to the convention centre.
It was hard to cull this down to our top nine, but we gave it a go and here are nine hilarious moments from the 2015 TravelManagers Conference.
1. Only at a TM Conference would a bride in sneakers crash a presentation
2. Or would a PTM talk ‘touching balls’ with a tennis legend
3. Snort laughed when Darren compared his Playstation racing to real-life racing
4. And how funny was it cheer-leading in the most competitive game of ‘scissors, paper, rock’ ever
5. Watching PTMs attempt on-land aerial skiing was classic
Arms up, straight, turn, arms out, spin again, tilt to right… I forgot the rest.
6. And that morning of painting was hilarious
7. EVERYTHING that came out of Darren Carr’s mouth at the Gala was brilliant (but slightly racist)
“Can’t wait to go home and take my wife’s underwear off… cause they’re killing me.”
8. And Tim from Air New Zealand the ‘Human Ventriloquist Doll’ still has me in stitches
“I’m from Air New Zealand.”
9. But nothing was quite as hilarious or brilliant as the NPO flash-mob – love the backward cap Gazal
