Flexibility and travel insurance are not terms that always go together, so it will be welcome news for many Aussie travellers that Cover-More has just introduced a new cancel-for-any-reason policy.
Along with the cancel-for-any-reason cover, the travel insurance provider has announced a host of new benefits for their customers.
These include cover for cancelled tours due to lack of numbers, cover for travel delay due to an act of terrorism, cover for travel service provider insolvency and increased cover on their existing new-for-old luggage benefit.
They also have adrenaline junkies covered with add-on cover for heli- and off-piste skiing and other more extreme adventure sports plus add-on cover for motorcycles and mopeds with greater than 200cc engine capacity.
Cover-More General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Mike Stein said the changes took Cover-More travel insurance “to another level”.
“We’re continually listening to the feedback from Australian travellers and we know they are looking for ways to personalise their insurance cover so it fits with how they travel.”

Cover-more now has two new umbrella policies, Comprehensive Care and Essentials Care.
Each of these policies lead in at different price points and give the traveller the opportunity to tailor their policy depending on where they are heading and what they want to do on their trip.
“By giving travel consultants a product that reflects the evolving needs of travellers we anticipate they will find it easier to convert their customers so that more Australian travellers travel with the protection insurance provides,” Stein said.
The new policies also provide customers with Virgin Velocity points for every dollar spent.
