Four continents, six countries, over 100 Agents and countless memories, this year’s TTC Great Escape came to a spectacular finish as Agents return to normality.

Beginning the adventure in Sydney, consultants descended upon the Harbour City where domestic travel leaders, AAT Kings, kicked off proceedings giving Agents the chance to enjoy unparalleled views from the iconic Harbour Bridge and delving into the heart of regional Australia with a visit to an authentic sheep shearing station.

Splitting off into eight groups, Agents then jetted off with their designated brands to some of the world’s most exotic and enigmatic destinations. Adventure World, delved into the South African wilderness in search of elephants, cheetah, lions and hippos in Sabi Sabi and Moditlo Private Game Reserves and uncovered the country’s turbulent history at Johannesburg’s Apartheid Museum.

History and heritage was brought to life by Trafalgar in China where Agents got up close to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Wall of China. A visit to the subterranean legendary army of Terracotta Warriors and Horses and Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding was also on the agenda as well as the chance to learn all about traditional Sichuan cooking in its spiritual home.

Uniworld offered consultants a taste of the high-life aboard the luxurious S.S. Catherine and recently launched super ship, S.S Joie de Vivre. Agents either sailed through Burgundy and Provence in style tasting Burgundy’s celebrated wines, delving into the history books in Lyon and exploring Van Gogh’s beloved Arles or through the romantic city of Paris and heavily historic Normandy.

Agents travelling with Insight Vacations headed for the alpine peaks of Switzerland, renowned for its silky-smooth chocolate and sublime scenery. From the snowy heights of Mount Pilatus, guests visited a local Swiss farming family and tried their hand at making cheese raclette. A highlight was a private wine tasting on the shores of Lake Geneva and rubbing shoulders with the famous and fabulous in the fashionable ski resort of Chamonix.
