Contiki has announced its return to the annual Byron Bay music and arts festival, Splendour in the Grass this July, marking the sixth year the tour operator has made an appearance at the event.
To celebrate the launch of the brand’s new Big Kahuna Hawaii trip, Contiki is returning this year with its Splendour in the Grass festival and accommodation packages, along with a Hawaiian themed bar.
The Contiki Tiki Bar will be the perfect place to luau between watching the amazing line up on offer, open to all festival goers featuring bespoke cocktails and the relaxed vibes you’d expect from any Hawaii holiday.
Contiki is also giving one lucky winner a trip for 2 on the Big Kahuna, all they have to do is simply tell Contiki which Hawaiian island matches their vibe: Maui for the adventurous Hawaiian explorer, Kona for nature lovers, or Oahu for surfers and shoppers alike. May the best response win.
These lucky winners will have the chance to say Aloha to Contiki’s newest destination during a nine-day Big Kahuna trip taking in three islands through three internal flights. The Hawaiian island hopper trip starts in Oahu (The Big Island) and ends in Maui. Youth travellers will spend glorious days exploring Honolulu and Waikiki beach activities by day to partying it up by night with a lot of adventure in between. Highlights include visiting the USS Arizonian Memorial and Punchbowl Cemetery to learn about the historic events of Pearl Harbour, learning to surf at Waikiki, snorkelling with wildlife in Kona and mountain biking down the 3055m Mt Haleakala Volcano.
