By Nahrain John @karryontravel11 May 2017Travel Agents are pretty spoiled when it comes to travel, with most having visited all corners of the globe thanks to educationals. Organised by tour operators, airlines, cruise lines and tourist boards they’re designed to provide consultants with first hand experience of exotic places such as Oman, up and coming spots like China and even hot spots such as Hawaii. Each educational varies in style, but they always leave a positive impression on the consultant, making it almost impossible to determine which of these trips could ever receive the title ‘best ever’. Until now. One group of Travel Agents say they’ve just returned from what they’ve described as the “best fam yet” in California. Don’t shrug it off, first find out what they did and maybe you’ll agree that the trip is worthy of the title. The 10 consultants were flown to Los Angeles with the most reputable company in Australia (yes, even more-so than Qantas and Virgin Australia), Air New Zealand. They ticked off three sections of the state – West Hollywood, Greater Palm Springs and Dana Point in Orange County – with a dedicated theme in each location. First stop was West Hollywood (WeHo) – you know, where all the celebrities hang. Taking in the city like the rich and famous, the group sweated out at a SoulCycle class in WeHo before enjoying poolside cocktails at the be seen’ Skybar (Mondrian Hotel). Onto Greater Palm Springs where consultants joined Kendall Jenner and her squad of Insta-models at Coachella Music & Arts Festival and rode the iconic Aerial Tramway. And if that wasn’t enough, they then learned what it was like to travel as the Real Housewives do, with a few nights at 5-star hotels in Dana Point and whale watching along the city’s beautiful shores. So what do you think, best fam ever?
