After conquering Antarctica, the Arctic, Africa and Latin America, Eclipse Travel says it’s ready to expand its business with an office in… New Zealand.
The office across the Tasman opens this month in Christchurch. A second base of operations is also planned for a second north island location later in the year.
Eclipse Travel Co-founder, Tim Farquhar, said expanding into New Zealand will help travellers “fulfill their travel dreams” to popular destinations.

The company’s expansion into Christchurch comes as the city slowly rebuilds its tourism industry following the destructive 2011 quake, which destroyed several buildings and homes.
Last month, the destination hosted New Zealand’s largest MICE event, MEETINGS, which attracted record numbers of international conference and incentive organisers.
Farquhar said guests travelling with Eclipse to New Zealand can expect “exceptional customer service” and itineraries and “exceed expectations”.
