FLIGHT CENTRE RAISES FUNDS FOR THE 'WORLD'S BIGGEST HAMPER'

Did you know that every year some two million Australians will have no idea where their next meal is coming from for themselves and the people they love?

Did you know that every year some two million Australians will have no idea where their next meal is coming from for themselves and the people they love?

Flight Centre Foundation is calling for the travel industry to help raise funds for the ‘world’s biggest hamper’, which will go towards feeding struggling families.

Working with Foodbank, the two charity groups are aiming to raise enough money to feed 10,000 families across the country.

In addition to helping vulnerable Australians, the 10,000 hampers would set the world record for the most packed hampers in a single day.

Donations of all sizes are being welcomed from as small as $20, which will help put together one hamper, or $2,400, which will contribute to making 120 hampers.

Your support will help Australians who are doing it tough put food on their plates for their families.

As an added bonus, the Group is giving donors the chance to WIN $7,000 worth of flights thanks to Virgin Australia.

According to the fundraising website, millions of Australians experience anguish and despair every year over “not knowing where the next meal is coming from for themselves and their families”.
