Did you know that despite all the online offers available, more than 60 percent of Hawaii bookings are made through Travel Agents? They’re certainly important to the diverse destination.

They’re so vital to Hawaii sales that even tour operators are adapting their product to ensure consultants feel confident enough to sell them to their clients.

Among these operators is Trafalgar, which this week confirmed 100% definite departures for all its 2018 Hawaii itineraries.

The departure confirmation is on all remaining 2018 Hawaii departures that currently come with a 10 percent early payment discount (available until 26 October).

In a statement to KarryOn, the tour operator’s Managing Director, Matthew Cameron-Smith, said confirming 100% departures is the brand’s way of responding to Travel Agents’ needs.

“We are excited to confirm that our Agents can sell our diverse Hawaii portfolio with 100% confidence with 100% definite departures, ensuring them an effortless selling process.”

According to Hawaii Tourism’s latest stats, Australians travelling to the island destination are doing so with more than just the intention of sipping cocktails under the Waikiki sun.

Catering to this demand for more Hawaiian variety, Trafalgar has packed its itineraries with more Polynesian activities including visits to Peal Harbour and Volcanoes National Park and there’s leisure lunches in Kilauea.
