Bunnik Tours is taking the road less travelled (by Aussies) to two new destinations – Ethiopia and Zambia – as part of its 2018/19 Africa touring program.

The two countries were added to the newly released brochure to meet demand and round out the tour operator’s diverse range of destinations for guests to explore.

History and culture buffs will enjoy the 17-day ‘Highlights of Ethiopia’ itinerary, exploring the rich and diverse history of the Horn of Africa as they travel from Addis Ababa to the majestic Blue Nile Falls in Bahir Dar, the remains of the Fasilides Empire in Gondar and the Simien Mountains.

Highlights of the Ethiopia escape include searching for wolf, walia ibex and gelada baboons, witnessing the stunning scenery in the Amhara region and visiting 12th century churches.

Travellers who opt for the ‘Cape Winelands, Victoria Falls and Zambia’ trip will spend 16 days travelling west from Cape Town to discover gourmet delights in Stellenbosch, cruise along the Zambezi at sunset, visit a Mukuni Village and take a walking safari in the South Luangwa National Park.

In addition to the two new trips, the new program features Bunnik Tours’ more popular Africa itineraries such as ‘Kruger to Cape Town’. ‘Kenya & Tanzania’ as well as ‘Namibia, Botswana and Victoria Falls’.

Tours are available for booking from today and can be secured with an early bird saving of $500 per person. The offer is available until 23 February 2018
