SPENCER TRAVEL LANDS A SPOT ON AUSTRALIA'S 'BIG' LIST

The Magellan Group Affiliated travel agency group famous for giving its long-term employees diamonds (among other things of course) has just received incredible recognition as one of Australia's 'biggest private firms'.

The Magellan Group Affiliated travel agency group famous for giving its long-term employees diamonds (among other things of course) has just received incredible recognition as one of Australia’s ‘biggest private firms’.

Spencer Travel sneaked in at number 497 on IBISWorld’s life of ‘Australia’s Biggest 500 Private Companies’, a position Penny herself couldn’t be more proud of.

In a statement to KarryOn, the Founder said it’s such a thrill to see the business on the list of successful private firms, which also featured household names such as Lorna Jane, Tennis Australia, 7Eleven, Sydney Fish Market, Greyhound Australia and more.

According to IBISWorld, Spencer Travel earned the 497th spot with total TTV (Turnover) of AUD$65 million over the last 12 months, which was an 8.3 percent rise on the prior year.

Other travel businesses to make the IBISWorld list were Consolidated Travel Group (29th), Brisbane Airport (64th), Port of Brisbane (179th), Adelaide Airport (275th) and Ignite Travel Group (485th).
