The doors to property opened this week, following a comprehensive multi-million dollar conversion. Owned by the Grey family, the resort is the first internationally-branded resort to debut in Samoa.

Nestled on the west coast of Upolu, Samoa’s most populous and developed island in the South Pacific Ocean, Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey’s Resort is just a five-minute drive from Faleolo International Airport (APW).

Starwood’s first property in Samoa reflects the local culture.

Surrounded by natural beauty, the beachfront property offers snorkelling or diving at one of Upolu’s striking dive spots. Guests can also charter a boat and spend the day fishing, swim with turtles or partake in the numerous water sports the hotel offers.

The resort boasts 133 luxury guest rooms, all with their own ground-floor patio or first-floor balcony, allowing stunning vistas of the tranquil Pacific.

On site recreational facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, nearby golf facilities, a 24-hour Sheraton Fitness centre, kids club and an outdoor spa offering a range of relaxation packages.

There are five bars and restaurants including a traditional Samoan venue.

The resort has five bars and restaurants including a traditional Samoan venue called Apolima Fale Restaurant where they serve local cuisine and flavours and the resort’s signature culture show.

The resort’s Club House Restaurant provides an alternative option for those celebrating a special occasion or seeking a quiet romantic dinner setting. Located within the property grounds away from the main resort, the restaurant features a 360-degree open kitchen allowing guests to gander and gaze at the Japanese delights being created before their eyes.

For guests looking for international cuisine, the newly refurbished South Pacific Restaurant, headed up by one of Samoa’s acclaimed Chef Kit Foe, provides a casual dining experience for lunch and dinner.
