Air Canada just went the #KOExtraMile for Canadians spending the holidays away from home. Check out the heartwarming video.
Air Canada’s looking to charm customers over the holidays, and they’re doing a damn good job at tugging on our heartstrings.
The company released a touching video of two men dressed as pilots walking into the Maple Leaf pub in London, England and met Canadians who expected to celebrate the holidays away from home.
One of these pilots announced that they’d like to buy the entire bar a round, and of course everyone cheered. Little did they know he didn’t mean a round of beers, what these “pilots” were really offering was a “round trip tickets to go back to Canada for the holiday season.”
There were cheers, shouts, stunned faces and even an emotional rendition of “O Canada”
It’s another example of great customer service here, not just by enhancing customer service to their customers but also winning over some new customers for Air Canada by creating unforgettable experiences.
Airlines seem to be stepping up their customer experience game, you may have recently seen our article on JetBlue trying to make thanksgiving travel more bearable or the huge undertaking by KLM to help travellers all over the world. These definitely could be seen as great PR but it doesn’t really matter because the help and the smiles delivered are real.
