Harry Potter-Themed Hotel opens for Muggles

Muggles, wannabe witches and wizards, rejoice! Get a glimpes of wizarding  at the new Harry Potter-themed hotel in London.

Thanks to the 163-year-old Georgian House hotel near London’s Victoria Station, Muggles can now get their own slice of Hogward heaven. Potter fans from around the world are now able to pack their magic spell books and Gryffindor uniforms and head to London to transfer themselves to the corridors of Hogwards without having to look for Platform 9 and 3/4 (oh that brick wall looks rock solid, ouch!).

With gothic-looking rooms kitted out with with four-poster beds, potion bottles, spell books and school trunks the visiting wannabe wizards will feel right at home.

The muggles who are staying in the Harry Potter pad also gets access to the “Muggle Tour’ of London including a trip to the Warner Bros Studio for ‘The Making of Harry Potter’ tour.

Serena von der Heyde, partner at The Georgian House, told The Independent:

“The Georgian House Hotel places great emphasis on welcoming families and I really wanted to create something fun for young visitors. When guests arrive we light candles and play music as they enter the Wizard Chambers – it’s a great way to give families a unique stay.”

This comes as it was announced JK Rowling is to publish new Harry Potter story about evil witch Dolores Umbridge on her website as a surprise for fans on Halloween.

The wannabe wizards will of course be able to find a copy of a Harry Potter.
